Skin-whitening soaps are for more than a half century were produced as Anti-Septic Soaps with ingredients like ammoniated mercury, potassium mercuric iodide, and other toxic mercuric compounds,carboxylic, and its hydroquinone derivatives.These whitening soaps were household trend consumables and were estimated that more that US$100 billion worth of these whitening (aka: antiseptic) soaps were sold in African continent alone in the past 50 years.

Clinical Affairs :

Songyi mushroom oil or Songyi mushroom Ceramide oil based Skin-whitening Soap bar or Liquid Soap is to be applied on skin-patch in volunteers' arms as repeat insult patch test assays, at n number of times, for 30 days and observed for irritancy.

A lather of Songyi mushroom Gel oil Ceramide oil 5% each based soap is applied on volunteers' forearm for a duration of overnight, and later within 24 hours observed with a Woods lamp (UV light). A comparison test of hydroquinones, and kojic acid 99% concentrated solution can be applied on the other arm.
Results :
Songyi mushroom Gel oil Ceramide oil 5% each based Soap's lather gives visible greater whitening effect in comparision with 99% conc. of Hydroquinones or Kojic acid under Woods lamp with 24 hours.
